Thrive Student Ministry at the U of A

Thrive is a student-led ministry on the Fayetteville campus of the University of Arkansas. We are a group of Christians whose main goal is to grow together in our faith and develop strong friendships that will last beyond our time at the university. We would love for you to get involved in our ministry as we do our best to spread the love of Christ on the University of Arkansas campus. Thrive is a part of a nationwide network of Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship (MBSF) ministries across the country.
    Weekly Praise and Worship
Each week during the fall and spring semesters, Thrive meets on Thursday nights at "Brad's House" behind the U of A Bookstore on the NE corner of Lindell & Douglas. Our worship nights typically begin at 8pm unless we change things to work around different campus activities. You can always keep up to date by following us on social media.

    Small Group Bible Studies
Although we take our corporate worship very seriously, we also strongly believe it is important to study God's Word in a different setting where Scripture drives discussion. Each week, groups of 10-15 people led by our upperclassmen meet and study scripture together. Within these groups we have four main goals that we strive to accomplish: studying scripture, accountability, discipleship, and service in our community. We believe these groups are a great outreach tool to bring in new students and build relationships with other students on our campus.

    Texarkana Baptist Children's Home
Once each semester, a group of Thrive students travels to Texarkana to spend a weekend with the kids that live at TBCH. We take the weekend to spend quality time with kids who seldom receive one on one attention. This trip has consistently been one of our students' favorite events, and it is always a blessing for both groups.
    Mission Trip
Each year over spring break we give our students the opportunity to spend the week serving God outside of the Fayetteville area. These trips are a great way for our students to bond together while serving our great God.
    Free Lunch
Each week, people from Pathway prepare a meal to serve at the Thrive House on campus. These meals are free and are open to anyone. This is a huge opportunity for us to build relationships with students who wouldn't attend a worship setting but will show up for free food. People from across the state give money each semester to cover the cost of the meals.
    Brad's House
Thanks to a generous donation, Thrive has a house on campus. In March of 2011, the remodel was finished and the house was dedicated to Brad Norris, a Thrive student who was killed by a drunk driver during his Sophomore year. Thanks to this house, we are a constant presence on the University of Arkansas campus.
