Service
We believe it is important for us to
demonstrate God's Love, not just through our words, but through our
actions. Our Service Team works to provide opportunities for our
Students to serve our community. We work in Nursing Homes, do yard work
for our neighbors, and serve shut ins in their homes.

Worship
Each week, Thrive meets on Tuesday nights for a
time of Worship each week during the Fall and Spring Semesters. We call
these P&Ws (Praise & Worships). We are led in worship by our
Worship Team and hear a message from the Word of God. These meetings are
open to everyone and we strive to use them as an offering of Worship to
God.
Outreach
Outreach at Thrive has two
different functions: to bring new people into Thrive and to bring new
people to Christ. We accomplish the first through on campus outreach
events, signs, phone calls, and emails. We accomplish the second through
our Evangelism training. We teach our students how to share their
faith, place them with a partner, and encourage them to seek
opportunities to share their faith. |
Bible Studies
While
it is important that we have corporate worship, it is also important to
have an opportunity to discuss and learn more about the Bible in small
settings. Each week, we host several student led Bible studies where our
students can study the Word together. These groups are led by students
and supervised by staff. |

Texarkana Baptist Orhpanage
Once each semester, a group of Thrive students travels to Texarkana to spend a weekend with the kids that live at TBO. We take the weekend to spend quality time with kids who are seldom receive one on one attention. Many people give money, but we give what many can't: time.

Free Lunch
Each week, people from Pathway prepare a meal to serve at our House. These meals are free and are open to anyone. This is a huge opportunity for us to build relationships with students who wouldn't attend a P&W, but will show up for free food. People from across the state give money each semester to cover the cost of the meals.
Brad's House
Thanks to a generous donation, Thrive has a house on campus. In March of 2011, the remodel was finished and the house was dedicated to Brad Norris, a Thrive student who was killed by a drunk driver during his Sophomore year. Thanks to this house, we are a constant presence on the University of Arkansas campus.
