Adults often view Teens as future somethings. They are future graduates, future business people, future employees, future politicians, future leaders, and the future church. While they are the future, they are also here right now. We recognize that Teens are not just future, they are present. We strive to equip them to be current Christians, not just future Christians by leading them in study, putting them in positions of service in the church, and by giving them opportunities to live their faith now, rather than later.
Small Group
The Teen Small Group meets each Sunday at 6:30. The location moves around, so email Clint Felts for this weeks location. This group spends three weeks studying and on the fourth week, they have an event to make give new people an opportunity to join the group. These events range from cookouts to bowling to putt putt golf. Check with Clint for details on this month's schedule.
Service
We believe that it is important for our Teen to serve our church, so we give our students an opportunity to volunteer alongside our adults. Teen have the opportunity to work in the Nursery, on our first impressions team, or as a helper in our Kid's classes.
Big Stuff
Exist participates in three large events each year: AYC, NC2, and City Reach.
AYC (Arkansas Youth Conference) is held at the State House Convention Center in Little Rock.
Each April more than 2,000 students gather for an weekend of worship and messages.
NC2 is a Teen Camp held at Bogg Springs Baptist Camp in Wickes, AR.
This is a great opportunity for Exist to pull away from the World and it's distractions to focus on spiritual growth.
City Reach is a week long mission trip each June where students across the country descend on a city to help a church plant reach it's community. This year, City Reach will be working with Pathway to host Pathway camps. Students work in sports and video game camps, food drives, free car washes, door to door surveys, and constructions projects all in an effort to share the gospel with that city.
